Well, there's receiver hitch, bedrail mounts, tie down straps & lay it down under the tonneau cover...............

Super nervous about bending something that way though. Never spent this much on a bike lol.

Called shop today. They are having the mechanics put together a 56- allez e5. I will be getting fitted and such sunday around noon.

I would rather place it on the non drive side in a seat than place it in the bed of a pickup. Far more damage can occur in the back of the truck than in the cab.
As long as it is not laying on the derailleurs you can't hurt it.

To the truck or the bike? .....more damage to bike possible in bed (if not secured) and more damage to truck or car cramming a bike inside. Did that crap taking both wheels off in the back of my 1997 Mustang with seats folded down, wheels piled on top with a blanket spread out under it guarding all the interior plastic. Sucked sucked sucked. And besides that......all the adhere to safety practices and rules and such discussion around here and now we want to stuff a bike in the back of a car/truck with the potential of it hurdling at you in an accident situation? NO. I'll take my chances with it secured in the bed of the truck, on top of the car or SUV or with it dangling on a trunk/hatch mount or receiver hitch.

I understand have to..............only until you can arrange something better.

Just threw it in back of truck on non derailleur side. Seemed fine.

I do that too on occasion on road trip to ride elsewhere - take the front wheel off and lay it down drive side up when I go stealth mode and pack all my stuff up under the tonneau cover. Tailgate locks and cover is strapped on not just the dinky clamp things it comes with.
