Purchased a used Felt F90; Upgrades??

So I am new to road bikes and the Felt F90 is my entry level bike. I really had an issue with the Saddle so I ended up getting the Brooks B17, which makes it a more comfortable ride. I like the bike but since I am so new at all of this I am not sure what is good and what is great. I did notice the shifting to be somewhat troublesome, I'm pretty sure im doing it correctly but sometimes the front and rear derailures are properly switching my gears which makes the chain rub against the derailures (excuse my spelling). Should I be looking to upgrade new derailures or is it human error. Thanks in advanced!

It takes one wrench and two minutes to adjust them. I wouldn't buy anything just yet.

And welcome to the forums!
