I missed yesterday but had a pleasant 12 miles in perfect weather today. Nice mix of rural &
city with a few social stops. That post ride leg tingle feels good, my attitude benefits as

Sunflowers are fun, I let a few volunteers in the veggie garden. They are fine winter bird
food. This one is odd ~ pics taken 5 days apart.

I needed to get out of the city on this top 10 riding day. A favorite destination ~ a
historical park with fish ladders, canals & lots of stonework. Dates back to the Pilgrims.

I set my goal for at least 14 miles because the destination was 7 miles away, ha. Some city,
nice rural, a stretch of RR tracks to trail with too many horse flies to stop for a pic (drat).

11 miles is all. Should have been more but couldn't get into it. I need a destination. I find

yourselves. It's not the miles, it's the riding. Keep posting here for an extra push.

Thanks but the pic is only an example of what an old guy can still do when cycling is used to
stay fit. Surely, a couch potato with similar health issues would not be able to do it.

Got jolted out of retirement for a quick paint job today. A local laundromat chain calls me
when ever they open a new 'store'. All I have to do is splash some color on the upper walls.
    The issue is it...

No ride today. I mowed the lawn in stead. Argh, that was more tiring than a long ride! It's a
big yard, the grass was long and I cut it short with a push mower. I'm gonna relax tomorrow &
    go for a rid...
