Posted in thread: Why do they not wear gloves? on 08-15-2011 at 08:33 PM
If you ride enough, there are three things you can count on: getting caught in the rain, flat
tires and kissing the pavement. (or dirt) I always wear gloves and a helmet. Skinned hands take
a long tim...Posted in thread: Cattle Guards on 08-01-2011 at 10:34 AM
I hit some diagonal railroad tracks, caught a wheel and crashed, breaking my femur and

Been out on the road and haven't had too much time, but I picked up my new Dahon Speed 7 over
the weeknd. This is a really high quality little bike and surprisingly fast. The short
wheelbase and small...Posted in thread: Flat Tire, #2 on 07-06-2011 at 09:17 AM

I've been biking for a while now and I just got an over the road job which is really going to
cut into my riding time unless I can bring one along. Space is at a premium, so I'm considering
a folder. ...Posted in thread: Giant TCX 1 / Giant TCR 1 on 04-29-2011 at 10:57 AM
I got a Giant OCR Limited a few years back in a L and it fit me pretty well after I put a
higher stem on it. I'm 6'1" and I like it a little more upright. I've put over 10,000 miles on
it with no prob...Posted in thread: good places to get a custom bike? on 04-29-2011 at 10:29 AM
Try Rivendell if money's not a problem. I found an old Trek at garage sale and put new wheels,

shift/brake l...
