    My road helmet is a Giro Atmos and my MTB helmet is a Giro Havoc. I have always worn Giro and
    find the fit best for my odd shaped head. I really like the Specialzed Prevails but they don't
    fit very go...

    I agree with kneedrachen, I think a cross bike is probably the best best for general fitness,
    commuting and fun. A visit to a good local bike shop will help you fine tune your needs. :)
