This bike was in a hit and run accident that nearly killed me. The bike sustained a broken fork and a bent back wheel. I was not so fortunate, the most imperative desire I had was to ride again. During my pain filled recovery of more than a year, I started creating a bike that would become the stuff of dreams that were fulfilled when I first rode after 7 months of recovery. On a briskly cold, sunny early March morning I rode for the first time in over 8 months. I was giddy with fear as I clipped into the pedals and pushed off. The bike came alive and rolled silently with so little effort on my part, that in that first few moments, an affirmation of Love between I and the bike began. Now almost two years after the accident I and the bike have traveled many miles and the love between I and the bike has only grown stronger rather than dimenish.
