Gary Fisher Ziggurat

  • This is a bike I originally bought as a trail/offroad bike, but was riding less and less in the dirt (Spokane is not a very good MTB area). I found however, that the same geometry, frame material, and basic set up, that made it a good trail bike, also made it an awesome bike for around town and to commute with. I've added fenders (with handmade custom mud flaps), a rack, a bell, some lights, a handlebar with a bit more rise, and some great city tires. This thing will just eat up the (crappy, poorly maintained, dirty and always under construction) streets, it laughs at corners, accelerates nicely, and is a joy to ride. I've taken to calling it my "Urban Assault Vehicle". One of the best bikes I've ever owned.
