Traitor Cycles - Streetfighter

  • PROTOTYPE (Production models due around March 2010)

The Streetfighter is our aggresive urban fixed gear/singlespeed. Based on the 650B wheel size, we have nick named it our 650BMX bike. Not designed to be a pure freestyle bike, it is simply a bomber bike that you can thrash on, pull tricks and commute all over town. We threw on a front disc brake with cable routing through the steer tube for those that want a brake and still want to bar spin.

The Streetfighter features larger diameter butted 4130 chromoly tubes that add a ton of strength and stiffness. Our custom 6mm thick laser cut dropouts are beefy and grippy to hold onto axle nuts. The frame is finished off with a fully integrated headset similar to BMX bikes and our custom fork that is super burly.

For production we are looking at offering two styles of Streetfighter frames. One with a dual front and rear disc meant to run a freewheel and one without any brake mounts front and rear for fixed gear riders.
