The Wabi Classic is designed for the rider who wants to experience the joy and pleasure of fixed (or single speed) riding on a steel framed bike designed for fast, long distance riding. The frame is based on traditional, proven road racing geometry, with a couple of tweaks for the fixed aspect. In addition, it is built using a very high level steel tubing, Reynolds 725 main tubes. This, in addition to the light wheels yields a true weight (w/o pedals) of under 18 1/2 lbs in a 55cm size. The ride quality is excellent.
The components were chosen for their quality, value and appearance. Because I import the Classic directly, I can afford to spend some money on the better frame and parts as compared to the other steel fixed gears now available. Please visit the site for more info.
