My name is Rich. I grew up racing BMX then moved to MTB not racing just riding. I Went to the BBI and took his course to get my certification in mechanics, assembly and maintenance. Ive been out of the loop for about 5 years and really want to get back to riding and working on bikes.
New here on this forum, but nearly 70 years on earth.
I live in Murray, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City.
Retired HVAC tech, ride for fun, don't race and avoid large group rides.
I try to get in at least a couple of multi-day tours every summer.
Old bikes follow me home, and I fix them up...

Poked around on a bike for years but have gotten semi-serious as running hurts the aged knees and is boring. Weekend warrior, in season I do say 40-50 mi over 2 days. Did my first charity ride this year (Pan Mass Challenge), now I'm hooked. Been riding an older hybrid, looking to upgrade...

Hi to all. Most of my riding is indoors lately. I have an older Trek, Fuji mountain bike, and a Mongoose rockadile (before they went department-store). I'm hoping to spend more time outside, if the work schedule will allow. Glad to see another forum dedicated to a great sport.
