I feel kind of silly asking this since I briefly owned a Schwinn CrissCross with this style of bars but my ownership of the bike was so brief that I never actually rode it. [Purchased used on Craigslist one weekend, sold the next weekend because the frame was too small.]

Indy Hack, did you mention in an earlier post about owning or riding a titanium mountain bike made for two? I've never seen a twin MTB.
You'd have to be a trusting soul to sit the back of that thing on a bad downhill. Not sure I could give up the wheel and let someone else kill me.
I have a couple of bike frames sitting here at the house and I was wondering if anybody had tried to extend a frame into a tandem by merging two or more frames together? I think it's either build a tandem or a tall bike. I think the tall bike would be easy, I just won't have a use for it not...
