Oakland Co. Wolverine Sports Club, 10 miles
International Velodrome at Bloomer Park,
Both will start at the Velo, with a road ride and track ride going simultaneously. Experienced track riders will ride the Velo track. The road riders, anyone who wants to participate will loop out of the park on the roads for 10 miles then finish back at Bloomer with the Velo riders. Afterwards, there will be a party inside the infield of the Velo, with a live band, free food, bike mechanics and Velo track instructors to teach all ages and abilities. The instruction will be free, riders do not need to own a bike the Velo will provide a loaner bike, helmets and shoes. A celebration after a solemn event! Track riders will wear armbands while riding slow silent laps in pace lines.
