Does anyone have an opinion on those add-on aero bars?
I have a standard road bike with drop bars, right now.

Was thinking of doing a few triathlons.
All those bikes are equipped with aero bars.

If you are going to be doing along road miles then I think they can be a reasonable choice. It seems though that they have become mandatory Fred jewelry now. I passed a Lance wannabe on the bike path, THE BIKE PATH, who was down in his areos grimacing like he was pinching a loaf in his spandex. LOL! If you ain't suffering and punishing yourself then you ain't ridin' bikes dude! </rant>
