I am looking for a welding machine so that I can make some mods to my bike hopefully i can find a plasma/tig/stick unit that can do aluminum, so if any of you know where i can find one for around $1200 please let me know...any help would be greatly appreciated

any machine like that is gonna be way more than 1200 i think but there's a site online where you can submit a design using there cad software and choose what kind of metal you want and get it fabracated for you using there laser cutters and stuff but it costs a lot.

Lincoln makes a 120/220 single phase TIG welder that's under $1,000. But that's just money down the toilet, since welding an aluminum frame is such a bad idea.

thanks for the help fellas but i already went ahead and bought a combo unit for exactly 1200.....whats the chances free shipping and all, it turns out that there was a company with an ac/dc combo unit for that price so let me know what you think....
