Hi I'm Steve,
New to Biking last year. Before that I was to heavy to even ride a bike tipping the scales at 384 pounds. I started to lose and wanted to get myself a bike. After losing approx. 120 pounds I finally purchased my first bike in over 25 years. Once I got it I was riding 5 miles at a time last year. I couldn't believe how much I loved to ride. So I did a total of 146 miles last year, lots of rainy weekends and a very short spring/summer. So this year I started very early, had the bike checked over the winter, I also lost an additional 57 pounds for a total of 177 pounds lost. I am currently riding approx 100 miles per week. I am about 11 pounds from my goal weight and should be done by the end of August.

So that's my story, I have a lot to learn about bikes, riding and fixing bikes. I hope to learn a lot from all you experts.

Thanks,
Steve
