I just completed my first Boston Hub on Wheels ride this past weekend and I highly recommend it to anyone in the New England area. It is held annually around the end of September and the 50 mile course takes you through the most scenic areas of Boston. If your in the area and want a good ride, please think about this one. The more riders that show up, the more city officials realize how imporant biking is, which leads to a more bike friendly Boston.

Sounds fun. How many riders took part this year?

The official total was supposed to be 6,500 riders but we had some pretty bad rain in the morning so I would say it was probably closer to 4,500 to 5,000 riders (but that still could be wishful thinking). Still a great showing.

That must have been crazy. Did it look anything like the g20 summit?
