I'm considering purchasing a Colnago C-40. Would appreciate any comments regarding performance, group sets, color choices, general experience if you are an owner. Thanks guys!

Hey Sammy,

You are looking at one of the finest road bikes on the planet. I actually have a CT1. It is 1/2 Carbon, 1/2 Ti. It rides very sweet.
As far as components; it's got to be Campy; at least Chorus or Record depending on budget. Rolf Vector Pro wheels would also be nice if you can find them; 16 spokes in back, 14 spokes in front. Who needs the rest of them.
Go for it. One of the best things is that you sure don't see many of them and you will get lots of compliments on it.

I have ridde one for a short period and did like it but they are pretty expensive. If you got the money then go for it, but if you dont either save or look at a different brand. You definetely need to get good components if you get that nice of a bike so dont cheap out. Post some pics if you go for it. They all look really cool in my opinion and you hardly ever see em.
