Any of you all riding the new 5000s? One of the guys I ride with regularly started using them and has had 2 flats in last month. None in over a year with the 4000s he replaced. Another buddy gashed his 5000 on a section of road with very little debris. Wondering what any one else has experienced. I have a pair in my closet but kinda hesitant to use them when my current 4000s wear out.

I have a new set awaiting installation after the cinders are off the roads.
I certainly hope they’re better than the 4000s. That’s the way things are SUPPOSED to work.
I’m very happy with the 4000s.

I'm going with its spring and there is typically more trash in the side of the roads. Mine are mounted on my wheels but still in hibernation.

I have several friends who are using them and I've not heard of any flats frm them yet but may need to ask.

That’s the way if should work. I still May hold off if I keep hearing about issues. My buddy thinks they tried to make them racier - hence - not as durable.
