I understand that Bilenky will couple any bike so it can be disassembled for travel. Anyone every done this?

I'm thinking of picking up a beater P-38 recumbent and coupling it...now that Bike Friday doesn't do folder bents anymore, this might be a cool solution.

Do they do aluminum, or just steel? I recall that it was something like $600 extra just for the couplers for my tandem. Not something I would do to a beater.
