I recently started at Curves for Women and really have liked it so far. Any of you other ladies have any experience there?
Very interesting information there, thanks.Curves is a franchise deal that must not cost a lot to start up. I just did a search and there are 18 of them within 11 miles from my zip in the Baltimore area. I knew there was a lot. So if you don't have one near you, you will soon. Or you could open one? I just looked that up too. $23,000 to $30,000 for a new franchise and equipment. No wonder they have popped up around here.
Yeah there are two within two miles of me, and the town I live in isn't all that large. My hometown even has one....a little farming community with only 7,000 residents. I dunno, they must do well.Curves is a franchise deal that must not cost a lot to start up. I just did a search and there are 18 of them within 11 miles from my zip in the Baltimore area. Well then you have been successful removing the unwanted curves.:thumbsup:One of my clients came over from Curves, in three months weve dropped her 4 dress sizes and 35lbs. I would highly recommend "The New Rules of Lifting for Women." Great book!
The gal that came over said she dropped weight a lot faster standing with kettlebells/dumbbells than she did in a year at Curves. I think she only lost about 5-10 lbs in that time frame.davereo said:Well then you have been successful removing the unwanted curves.
Franchise fitness centers have come and gone over the years. My oldest sister has jump on board with all of them. Sadly out of the five of us she has been the only one to struggle with her fitness and health.
