Today my browser shows a warning that this is an insecure site. That I should not enter sensitive information. Never got that before.

(This is a http, not https, site so of course, no sensitive info should go here. But, why the new warning?)

Got questions too.......

Did you do windows updates?
Did you change internet providers?
Did you make any browser changes?

I'm on thru work and if those kind of changes happen on the far end then our firewall usually is very good about throwing up warnings like you are getting.......and I got none. Could be host of things...........pun points for me. :D

Don't have to tell me, I treat all sites as insecure until proven otherwise. Just a matter of curiosity.

No changes on this end. All software and firmware up to date. No device change.

Somewhere your site triggered a warning. NBD

This stems from Google's new policy on trying to get everyone to use https for security reasons, and penalizing the SEO ranking of those websites that do not use https. Browser designers will start showing the warnings in the URL line as a matter of course soon, especially in Chrome of course.
I design websites and I have already seen a bit of a drop in the rankings of my customers' sites that don't use https, as well as my own hobby sites.
It's generally a good concept but penalizing people for not having it at this point is kind of unfair.
Hawkowl - what browser do you use, just out of curiosity?

Cyclist are insecure and need to hide behind constant upgrades while trying to stay ahead of the next trend. So the warning is correct.
