Six weeks off created a sore bum after one ride. So i decided to take it easy tonight.
Unfortunately, this normally sweet, shaded, short ride had about a two mile section with serious roadwork happening. One bridge out of service and two temporary stoplights dampened the ride mojo.

Still, i got in 21 miles and a decent climb.

Rola, right now I’m just using FulGaz on iPad. If I decide to stay with it, I’ll likely just connect an hdmi cable from the iPad to an LG 27 inch 1080p monitor. Were you aircasting it? Sometimes a wireless connection is a little shaky.

Yes, aircasting. Odd they haven't done it for the Macbooks. I may revisit today for a change of pace as we have yet another day of rain and potential flooding. 5.5 inches of rain I dumped out of our rain gauge just from yesterday...pretty much over it.

You get 14 days free. They don’t ask for a credit card. Pretty expansive library, many Tour climbs. You might like it.

Too bad. Try code 58cofg. That just extended my trial to 28 days. You also might try a different email address.

You could share! That much rain might actually put some of the fires out.

Another hot and humid 40 miles today. Almost quit at 25 miles but I'm doing the C2C Virtual Ride and I'm pretty close to the end. Decided to continue on even if I had to walk some.

Shooting for a 50 mile ride, which I hoped to get before the rain started. Riding with Frankie to finish up the virtual C2C ride but only made it 26 miles before the rain started. I'll get the last 25 miles in tomorrow, if it doesn't rain.

Vintage bike shenanigans around the hood...........1993 DB Vertex....been a great bike, still a great bike. Current setup = full XT 3x9 vbrake with LX dual control levers. Post Modern suspension seatpost, RockShox coil fork with extra firm spring. XT wheelset with Mavic x519 hoops. Twisted radial front lacing. Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1's. Felt 31.8 bars. Still pretty fun bike for 26"...light, nimble, accelerates great. Still have pretty much all the bikes I have built since 1990 so they all need to be ridden once in awhile....all 18 of them. This one got the call today and as always performed great.........

I think the cool thing about FulGaz is that you can actually learn how to climb on this app. It’s a real course and you need to try to find a rhythm, play with your gears, etc. The only part of the course that I can say I recognized from TV is that iconic sweeping left hander just before the finish. Just past the finish on the right were two cyclist dudes outside a coffee shop. How real is that?

After a few days to rest my bum, i took off for what is probably the easiest ride around here.
I just cannot explain how good this ride felt and the effect it had on my demeanor.
    29 fun miles.
