Falling

    Wondering if you guys every practice falling? Not to the point of hurting yourself but rather practice for possible high speed falls.

    I try to avoid falling in general... But, you should always keep your surroundings in mind to have an idea what you're going to fall into, over or off of when it happens. My best suggestions is the tuck and roll method.

    I usually don't, but sometimes I do wonder "what-if". It probably isn't a bad idea, as most people don't know how to fall correctly, myself included.

    I was always taught that in ALL situations you need to be aware of your surroundings and give yourself an out. However, I do not recommend learning to fall...you will innately inhibit your bodies readiness to react with intuition and instinct. When you have a high speed fall; your consciousness won't react as fast as your instincts will so even if you could 'learn to crash at speed' it wouldn't do you any good.
