So whats your favorite trail to ride on? Have any pictures from it?
I lived in Memphis TN for a while and Shelby Farms park, which is on the east of memphis has great mtn bike trails.
No pics, I was too busy riding!
J.E.T in the northern escarpent in Riding Mountain National Park. i have pictures, just need to upload them. it was awsome, about 11km all downhill. then unfortunalty it was about 12km uphill! i thought it was going to die.
My favourite would be the Colville Connection in Coromandel, New Zealand. I'm not much of a down-hiller, more into XC, so it suits me good, but there is a nice downhill about 1/2 way through. Check it out: http://www.colvilleconnection.co.nz/ I haven't told the missus yet that that's what we're going to do for our honeymoon!
heres some pics. doesn't show the crazy downhill parts, but it shows you the scenery. just so you know, the flat prairie that you see is what totaly surround riding mountain national park. i hope to do alot of biking this year.
some more. they aren't in any particular order.
All of my favorite local trails are wayyyy too illegal for me to post the locations, i'd be happy to put up some pic though. As you guys probably know it's hard to get how steep something is by taking a photo, and don't let this photo fool you, this section of the trail is steeeeeeeep.
that trail is called stinkfist aka hairball
Of course one of my favorite spots overall is downieville. 17 miles of bliss
Very cool pictures man, we also have a pictures section for all your picture posting needs
shaffer farms up in md. great place to ride. not super tech but very fun. lots of jumps, log rides, burner downhills. great place to ride a single speed too.
That's why I like to start my trips uphill and go until I'm almost spent and then coast all the way back.
haha, i know what you mean. problem is you start on top, theres no way of starting on the bottom...
We have a group ride at Schaeffer every Thursday @ 6:00. Come on out and join us sometime. Afterwards we hit Dogfish Head for some tastee post ride beverages and grub.
Props run, Slatyfork, West Virginia, basically 7 miles down a rocky, flowing creek bed.
Way too many to list, or even come up with a real favorite!!
