The title of your thread lead me to think of other things *training* until I looked
I started with the Sufferfest videos, tried Trainerroad and serval others that have popped up over the years and landed with Zwift. It fills all my needs and wants for indoor training. Seems people either love Zwift or hate it, not much in between. I've done many rides with members from here and most consistent, especially during the winter months , has been with @Hazy. We've gone at it pretty good and then had some no more than 1.5 w/kg no drop rides so it works for me.
I really like TrainerRoad. I’m grandfathered in at $99 a year. I think it’s now $189. Completely structured training. Base, Build, and Specialty plans run for 28-32 weeks. There are hundreds of non-plan rides as well, and you can ride unlimited all year. Volume choices in the plans run from 3 rides/4.5 hours per week to 6 rides/10 hours per week. Many rides with workout text instructions on screen for drills, technique, etc. Recovery week every 4th week. I’ll be starting my 4th year in November. I’ve screen shotted many of my rides in the Did You Ride Today? thread.
I did sufferfest for a couple of winters. I did like it. Ended up using some of zwifts included training programs like Rola mentioned. I wasn’t consistent and sometimes used some old workouts coaches had set up for me and manually built them in Zwift.
I’m playing around with FulGaz now with a 28 day free trial. Basically you ride a video course that someone recorded with a handlebar cam. Over 600 rides in the library from world over. Some of the Tour climbs are Alpe d’Huez, Galibier, Mont Ventoux, Glandon, d’Izoard, etc.
