So I'm going to use the hybrid as a commuter as opposed to my MTB. The hybrid has 700x38c tires.

I was looking at the planet bike site and their cascadia (and pretty much all other fenders) only will fit up to a 35 tire.

Suggestions?

which did you end up with? I've been contemplating adding some to my Hybrid to help keep dirt off the kids when towing their trailer, and I've got 700x40c tires.

so far I've seen the SKS Chromoplastic ones, and that's about it.

Easy peasy install, I run 700x38c tires and there is plenty of clearance.

not sure how I feel about those adjustable stays.

Wonder if they'd work with discs.

I've got the SKS chromoplastic fenders in 50mm for my 700x43 tires. I've run them for about 1100mi now and am quite happy with them. Needed tweaking on the front to clear my disc brake mounts, but no biggie. There aren't a lot off options for 700c 'fat' tires.

Adjustable stays are 2 pairs of rods with a common sliding coupler with a hex bolt in the middle. Getting them set up is no different that using an "X" pattern when tightening lug nuts/bolts.
