i bought a crappy "kranked progression" bike form canadian tire a couple years ago. big mistake. however, i modified it, and now its not so bad, just heavy as hell.

i took out rear suspension, put on unused 2005 marzocchi dirt jumper 3's on it, put new pedals on it, and put on a sram x-5 derailluer. some other small stuff too.

its been through alot of abuse, over like 500km of biking, about ten 4ft drops onto pavement and grass, countless jumps and so on...

first pic is original, hard to see though. rest us what it looks like now. seats a bit lower though, but that changes depending on how i ride.

i want to get a new bike. the wheels are bent bad (i've had to bend the back ones back), its really heavy, and the bearings aren't the best. it doesn't coast as well as it should. the attack angle for the forks is also pretty bad b/c of the frame, but i can't do much about that. i'm looking at a dirt jump/urban bike b/c of my riding type, although i still want to go xc riding. i'll just raise the seat.

the chainring is off of a different bike, and i cut off the 3rd one b'c i never used it, and i could use the added clearance.
