Humm, unless your path is mostly paved and hard packed gravel, I wouldn't want to use a thinner tire, jmho. Probably nothing really wrong with any of your choices, although they seem "heavy" weight wise, still in the price range you listed, their ok.

I'd TEST ride all three, on the same day if possible and find which one, FEELS right. Since the Trek is 140.00 more, hopefully it has some better components, maybe a bit lighter, ect. But riding and comparing is the best bet. Whatever you choose, ENJOY! PS: After looking at the bikes, #1 Trek, #2 Giant, #3. Fuji, again jmho, ymmv.

That bike is so different from my Absolute 1.0. Tire seam a little narow for any thing but road,as are mine, so you might have to change tires. I would have to ride all the bikes, if I could as my 1.0 has a verry long top tube for its size.
