I saw this on another forum, and thought I would share it here: For some reason ING Direct has some kids 24 inch Marin Bayview Trail Bikes, and they are selling them for $175 plus tax, with free shipping. While ING's site says their normal price is $245, Marin's MSRP on the Bayview Trail is $399. Guy on the other site ordered it, got it in 2 days, and posted pics -- looks good! The specs look pretty good, so I bought one for my son and he can't wait. Here's the link:

If my daughter took better care of her bikes, I'd get her one of those.
I hear ya. My son is pretty good with his bike, and heck at that price it's cheaper than most half-decent used kids bikes with front suspension. He's got a heavy steel bike now with a rigid fork, so this should be a good step up.

Put together the bike for my son, and it went well -- just requiring minor tweaks to the brakes and shifting (as with most bikes delivered in a box). It's a super bike for the price, and my son loves it.
