I've been off my 30 year old Fuji Royale for about 5 years now but last weekend I finished cleaning, lubing, and adjusting it and set out to make up for lost time. I remembered how easily the miles just glided by so I decided to circumnavigate Lake Sammimish (23 miles). The bike performed flawlessly, smooth, and silent. I on the other hand am not nearly in the same shape. At 56, time takes it's toll quicker. I made it in about 2 hours of cycling time with another hour and a half of rest stops. Then came 3 days of my legs demanding to know what was I thinking. Today, I went out for about half that distance and feel great. Bum left knee had no complaints from either ride (YAY!). Looking forward to many more miles. Thanks!
