Just bought my first road bike, haven't really been riding since my last mountain bike bit the dust many years ago when I was really young.

Did about an 8 mile ride yesterday, looking to do another 8 miler today hopefully.

Anyway I've been browsing the site a while, while I was researching what I wanted to buy, and decided to join today!

I'm from Houston, Tx. Well really some suburbs northwest of Houston.

I just bought a Scott Speedster s50, pretty satisfied so far once I fixed the seat and got the front derailleur adjusted properly!
