I'm sure this will be met unfavorably, but thinking about you cyclers and your safety. There are several narrow stretches of highway 34 with blind corners. I understand 'share the road' and I get it. But, keep in mind when a log truck is coming one way and a motor home the other, they come around that blind corner you are in a vulnerable and bad spot. I'm guessing most drivers reaction is going to be to avoid the head on which leave cyclists as the unfortunate recipient of contact.
Please cycle safe and consider this before heading out to the coast on this route.

I actually appreciate the post. It is frustrating that the "only option" drivers see is to pass regardless of the law. Which clearly states the auto operator must slow down and only overtake a cyclist when it is safe to do so.
That said knowing a road has blind spots and knowing drivers will not slow down and wait to pass when the oncoming traffic has cleared. It is best we can do to know where not to ride.

Thanks for the heads up mate. If ever out that way, I will avoid Highway 34.
