I love hiking, but there is a rather limited amount of decent trails in my area. I was in bliss when I went to the rocky mountain nation park last June, 40 mph winds, snow and 20 degree weather were not enough to keep me off the trails there.

I was just there on Saturday. Hiking at 12,000' is exhausting! The weather conditions were pretty good. It got down to 49 and rained a little, but otherwise it was awesome!
Those trails at high altitude where a pain, but after my next trip there when I bring my bike they are probably going to seem easy. I am dreading the thought at trying a 19 mile climb that tops out at over 12,000' but if I can pull it off it will probably be one of the most memorable things in my life
