Our brains are amazing things. I've been reading a lot about perception, consciousness, and how involved we are in both. Turns out, not very.

I got all of them by the way.

Good for you. Yea..years ago I was pretty deep into (trying) to understand brain functions. Not only physically, but conjectural. Probably came from me going thru a massive brain injury. I was determined not turn into a veggie. So things like this are (semi) fun/interesting. Even though I find the workings of the brain mind-boggling, I've never--ever considered becoming anything remotely connected to a psychologist. Those people are utterly idiots..and need their heads examined.

Yeah, found all three, and read the garble.

I've long been a proponent of mental exercise; voracious reading, tests like that, IQ tests, 'psych profiles' from a hundred different sources... the mind is a fascinating labyrinth.

Reading the garble was a simple extension of what I do anyway; my eyes just naturally pick out misspellings -- little OCD about that. I think it started, really, in the 80's, when I was playing a game on my old Commodore 64; lost the game because the programmer couldn't spell correctly! That disk FLEW off the balcony.

What's even more interesting about that paragraph..while staring at each jumbled word, try and rearrange the lettering in it's correct order, without looking away and spelling out the word in your head. Lot tougher than you think.

I was amazed at how fast I could parse the gibberish. Maybe reading funetical's post *is* worthwhile after all?
