Hello, I've been riding for years and recently bought a new Trek Mt bike that I love. Been out a few times, but am in such bad shape it's going to take me a while to be riding anywhere to mention. Right now I'm takin' it slow, so if anyone could recommend a good long flat ride for me, I'd be more than happy to try it.

Thanks, Stroke

Hang in there and enjoy the bike! I would recommend mapmyride.com to help you track and plan routes.

Oh, and welcome!

Veloroutes.org is another site with an elevation graphic. Plot your route and you can see exactly how much change in elevation you are looking at.

where do you ride now?

One more. ridewithgps.com Less ads and easier than Map My Ride, IMO.

Glad to have you Stroke!

Welcome, Stroke.
I got Jello legs after my first 5 mile ride last March. Now I can go 15 and still do yard work later in the day. I'm 66 yo on a hybrid. Also down 10 pounds.
