ANYTHING that is on or near water requires permitting and even more being in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed (https://www.chesapeakebay.net/discover/watershed)
It's the Communist Wealth :D I rebuilt a deck( well actually paid a contractor for that one) at our last home and had to have it permitted as they said I was changing the offset. The damn thing went in the SAME EXACT spot with one exception. Code said it had to be attached to my house and not free standing which equated to 2"....the width of the 2X10 they used for the header. Probably dimensionally it physically changed less than that.

Here see if you can spot the difference requiring a permit :D It's ALL about the money.

Rola, is that the elite or ultralight stand? How do you like it? Did you consider the Sprint? I have a 35 year old Park that I’m looking to replace, not due to wear, but because it’s too low as I’ve gotten older.

I'll have to look. I've had this one for quite a while and i really cant remember. I can also appreciate the reasoning for the Park!

I watched some video reviews of the two versions. Trying to decide which one to get.

Still haven't been out to the garage to look but I kind of always thought about going to the Park Team issue stand if I ever got a new stand.. The latest version allows for all axle types without any adapters so it's good for mtb as well. Hard to get past the price tho. I'll be interested to see which way you end up going.

I’ve had Park PCS 9, that my wife bought me for Christmas, for about 5 years. It’s been an excellent stand but sometimes I wish it was a tad bit lighter in weight. In my old grumpy age, even having to lift stuff gets annoying.

I was just thinking "Fk cancer". Got my CT result for my shoulder. Found a spot on my upper left lobe.

    So I said "Fk this".

Took the money I made from selling my good VTX and bought a 2020 Cannondale Synapse. Ultegra Di2, hydro disc etc.

You'll see me on Strava. Going to need to drop a ton of weight before they drop it for me.

Hang in there! Lots of excellent outcomes with early stage CA and spot radiation therapy (Cyber-knife).

    I was thinking, how?

Well, never smoked, but work in a firehouse.

    Over the age of 35.

And it is in the upper lobe, which from what I understand, prognosis is a bit more sinister than anywhere in the lung.

So, on the horn with Hopkins, U Penn and U of MD tomorrow.

After I go for a morning ride.

Well, past the freak out stage and now just want to roll up my sleeves and get to business.

    Some people talk about action.

    Some people act.

    I'm of the latter.
