Rola, it could be worse. It costs that much to put a new set of tires on my car every year and it holds 10.5 quarts of synthetic oil. I just look at it as "first world problems." Ha. You can't take that money with you when you croak. Might as well spend it all on things you enjoy.

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but when I got off work this afternoon, it was November 9th and temps in the upper 70°s with blue skies. My only chore was to season the chicken and put it in the smoker. I could have ridden. There was plenty of time. Instead, I grabbed the can of deck sealer and spent the next three hours doing that instead. What’s wrong with me‽
You can't apply deck sealer on a cold gray day, spitting rain with gusting winds .... but your ride report form that day is sure to be filled with drama. You did it for us.
