I hear ya, when I have to go work in the city the poles are stripped of ground wire sometimes as high as 10 ft. That's either the basketball players side job or some kinda step stool eh?

I would welcome the good ole' boy to come get'm some of that #4 It would be difficult at best, one because of location and just finding it and two...well there's just to many guns on this lane I have a 300 ft roll of #6 on the back of my truck for work, wonder what the value of that is ?

At a lodge i used to work at, someone ripped the ground wire from our Swartz antennas and cut it from the ground rod.
All of it within sight of lodge rooms and they had to walk past restaurant and lobby and through a small parking area.
I still think it was an employee, but could never prove it.

Had to google what those were. Had a good idea what a Swartz antenna was or at least what it was being used for.

Day before yesterday, CV19 came to my home. My oldest tested positive. The rest of us negative. Odd, since we’ve been TOGETHER for nearly a month now.
So far, he’s had a dry cough, headaches, his nose burned inside and some tightness of the chest.

Anyway, he’s delegated to the den in the basement. We’re upstairs.
It’s truly unpleasant knowing he’s home but we cannot see him.
Lots of texting and some FaceTiming, but that personal interaction is gone and we feel it in a sad way.

We’ve got another 12 days of this. I can’t even spend time on the trainer. All of my exercise equipment is with him.

I liked that only in regards to acknowledging a bad situation. I’m sure you get that but just wanted to be clear in the digital age of expressionlessness, non verbal cues you can’t convey via the keyboard or phone. That’s why I’ve fallen in the habit of always using the smiley face

Sorry to hear that about your oldest. My oldest grandson and his girlfriend both tested positive, back in November. We didn’t find out until just before Christmas. It’s why we stayed home by ourself’s this year rather than be with family. Anyway, other than having to be quarantined for two weeks, the CV19 did nothing to them. Being locked inside the same apartment for two weeks, well that’s another story.

I was just thinking.............I didn't build a bike last year and look at all the crazy dumb 5h!t that happened. Sorry everyone. So, this is just the thing to save the world..........a well worn $60 2006 GT Avalanche 1.0 Disc frame that will be coming back to life as a rigid, hard tail 1x10 biopace disc staggered wheelset offroad covid killing socialism erasing monster fashionable groovy space machine of some sort, maybe even sporting bar taped mtb riser bars. The gears in my head are starting to churn out a plan........1st things 1st - a Wheels MFG #94 black anodized derailleur hanger....and it begins. First peeks at wutz to come..................

They do! odd thing is how you will fit two on the single frame. But twice the derailleurs twice the fun! or something like that

With the new lockdown being enforced on barber shops and salons being extended another 3 weeks, I guess it its back to the mountain man look.

Our barber shops have been opened since we reopened the state. There is limited seating in the shop and if you can’t sit inside, you have to wait in your car until there’s a seat available inside. We also have to have a mask on the entire time. When they need to work around an ear, you hold the mask in place until they’re done. A small inconvenience but no mountain man look.
