Funny you mention that, we spent more than one payday Friday afternoon in the back of a H.A.S. enjoying a bottle of der apfel schnaps. For those that don't know what a H.A.S. this is from the very flight line such things happened WAY back in the day

H.A.S weren't built at RAF Alconbury until after I left. Now most of the H.A.S. have been removed. Demolition teams are getting some practice.
