Cheap'n out and going low brow tonight but wanted a change.
I’m giving my liver and the rest of my body a little break. Good to see these drinks though.
I've had to give up on beer especially during the week. Doesn't matter if I have one or three I can not sleep at night anymore, very odd. I fought it for a long time but gave into the fact that's the way it's gota be
that’s no good. Gotta get that figured out.
This beer is very good. Wish I had saved it for last. Well done with the chocolate/fudge.
That one is ver good, found 2 and bought them and got lucky and found another 4 pack today.
Are you drinking bottle conditioned beer? Might be the extra yeast and or sediment doing something to keep you up.
I guess you’ll have to stick to whisky.
Tonights tree decorating beverage
1 quart Traders Point Creamery eggnog
¼ cup Captain Morgan’s 100-proof spiced rum
¼ cup Kahlua
2 tablespoons Wild Turkey Kentucky bourbon ( we are using Blantons instead )
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Whole Foods ground cinnamon
Whole Foods ground cloves
Whole Foods ground nutmeg
Fair Trade Demerara sugar, to coat the rim of each glass
My actual end product and I must say it is DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS!!!!!
Might have to give that a try soon.
You really should! This all started because I just wanted some Rum and Eggnog but just wanted to find something that gave me a good ratio so it wasn't all Rum or all Eggnog flavor.
Stumbled across this and thought, yup that sounds good. We had everything but the spiced rum on hand and the local ABC store had Capt'n Morgans on sale. It could be expensive to make if you didn't already have the ingredients on hand I think.
The second round I got the pinch of cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon to look like the picture. I stupidly tried to use a spoon and it looked like I dropped an egg in there the first time. Second time around I washed and dried my hands and did like grandma and used my index finger and thumb to get a "pinch" sprinkled in there.
