I took kayaking lessons a couple of weeks ago. It was a blast! I hadn't been in a kayak since I was a kid. I will probably buy one late this summer or early fall.

How much is a cheap kayak?

That depends on the type of kayak. For an entry level recreational boat for instance and associated gear: helmet, floatation vest, & paddle, you're lookin at around $500 to start.
