I'm generally humbug for the holidays but good music can liven up my mood.

Eddie Allens "Jazzy Brass for the Holidays" Cd arrived yesterday.
Very smooth horn arrangements with solid acoustic bass and snappy percussion. Fourteen classic selections including We Three Kings, Let It Snow, The Little Drummer Boy and my favorite from this disc, Good King Wenceslas/Cool King Wenceslas. A toe tapper for sure.

After listening to Eddies Cd I spun up Duke Ellingtons "Three Suites"...a must have imo.

For more light-hearted fare there is always "Charlie Browns Christmas" Cd.

    Humbug...back to work.

The Music is what I really don't like about the season. Lights don't get stuck in my head, reindeer don't get stuck in my head, Jingle Bells gets stuck in my head, and they play it every where so when It's finality out I walk into a store office etc... and there it is again. Humbug to me I suppose.

I loved Charlie Brown as a kid but I tried watching it when it was on few days ago and it was terrible. I watched it entirely for the novelty but I was bored to tears.

I like lite Jazz instead of Christmas Music.

Bob Dylan has a Christmas album out this year. I would give it a B-.

I love Dylan. I won't buy that though.
