“Down homeness” is what I call it. You might like White Buffalo’s Love and the Death of Damnation. Somce lock down he statted a yt channel where he sits in his garage and drinks beer and sings songs.

My oldest son (20) (my conduit to new music) suggested I listen to Shakey Graves and sent me this video.
It checked off some of my likes.
Unique voice.
Skilled musician.
Decent music.

I wouldn’t listen to this all of the time, but I now want to watch this live. He’s quite talented. What he’s doing musically is not easy at all.
