I play lead guitar in a band. We play southern rock, Outlaws, Skynyrd, Molly Hatchett, that sort of stuff. Last month I played with Randy Treet from the Outlaws and this month I'm playing with Billy Greer from Kansas. Both are bassists. When these guys aren't touring, they do benefits and need musicians to back them up. We were fortunate to get to know them and they call us for help when they're in the area. It's been a blast. A lot of the younger crowd don't remember these bands or what they played, but the shows have been pretty successful. We raised a lot of money for needy children. These guys are both super nice and all pro. Life is good.

That's great beachbuggy! I love listening to southern rock in bars....I guess it's because I'm a born and raised Texan! I have lots of friends who play in bands and some who just play for fun. It's always a good time sitting around listening to good music with good friends! Life is good!

Raising hell with the hippies and the cowboys
They don't care about no trends
They don't care about songs that sell
Yeah, tomorrow I'll be gone
So tonight everybody just sing along
Raising hell with the hippies and the cowboys

I've been standing on the outside for all of my life
But I like the view, I'm not gonna lie
Yeah, the yuppies and the hipsters and the wannabe scenes
That ain't down-home to me
I like two dollar beers, I like three dollar wells
At some old honkytonk bar that I know by the smell
Some old drunk on a barstool on a Merle Haggard tune
That's my kind of room

I've tried, but been unable to find this exact tune in a live video.

I love music of all kinds. Music has played a big role in my life. My parents encouraged me and my siblings to see live all types of live music.

Blues, jazz and 60-70's rock had the biggest impact on me.

Check out this blues tune by Melvin Taylor.
I've hoped to catch him live, but in the states, he almost exclusively plays at clubs in Chicago and I've yet to catch him.

I hope you enjoy his mastery of blues guitar as much as I do.
