This is my first bike in over 20 years. Picked it up today and put 5 miles on it and loved every push of the pedal..

    I'm hooked...

very very nice bike. I'm sure someone is going to get on you about not having your pedals and 9 and 3... don't care personally. That is a very nice bike to upgrade to from not riding in over 20 years. I hope it lasts, and you get many miserable miles out of it. :)

By 9 and 3 I'm referring to your pedals being at the 9'oclock and 3'oclock postions. I'm not sure why people have a thing about it, I was more making a joke.

Wow I like faux lugging. Gives it some real style. I think Raleigh is one of the most stylish mass producers out there.

I'm very concerned that his wheel logos are not lined up. And I can't see the valve stems.

The Rules, as shared by Rola, clearly state that 9 and 3 is NOT acceptable. See #26. :)

I like the order in which you posted your photos, teaser close ups and finally the whole bike.
    Good looking bike BTW.

Now on to the important stuff. We need to see the outfit that you will be wearing while riding. And don't try and slide some neutral colored helmet past us either. We wanna see some matching! 8)

Thanks everyone. It's such a joy to ride... So responsive and smooth.

    Nigal,

Well right now I'm wearing cargo shorts and a button up shirt on most of my rides. I bought a pair of Castelli shorts, but have not worn them out of the house yet....lol

Beautiful bike, the faux lugs had me big time.

Looks like with such a short amount of time on his steed and such a long time out of the saddle he remembered the rules enough to put them approx 30 degrees off. It sticks with you. No matter how long it has been when you pick up the bike the rules come back to you, just like riding a bike.
