Hell, my name is Mike Hudson. I just purchased a brand new 2010 trek 2.3 after months of researching about bikes. This is my first road bike and I am very happy with my bike choice and plan on commuting to work and doing some good distance rides in the future.

Welcome! What reasons made you choose the Trek?

Of all the bike shops here in town, the one I have ended up going to had a better system for bike fitting, which was pretty important for me. They were all very helpful and had a lot of knowledge about the different bikes. They mainly carry Trek and they have a few Orbea bikes. After my fit, I went online to see what bikes I had been looking at best matched my fit. I narrowed it down to the 2.1 and 2.3. I rode a few of the bikes to see how they felt and the 2.3 felt the best to me.
