    Hey everyone,

Just signed up here to meet like-minded people and learn a little more about bicycling. If there's any other Metro Detroiters on here, I'd love to meetup sometime for a ride and shoot the breeze.

I'm a mechanical engineer most days and most of my rides are with my 'ol lady at parks and around our home in Troy although we've been riding downtown a lot more often and plan to continue that trend once spring hits.

Thanks for having me and hopefully I'll see some of you soon!

I live in Dearborn and ride on Hines Drive most weekends. How is the road biking up in Troy? I work up in Auburn Hills sometimes and see some trails up there....but don't spend a lot of time in Troy.

Welcome aboard. It's amazing that the family keeps growing even in the off season.

I see a lot of road bikers up around the Oakland University campus but I ride mostly with the 'ol lady on trails and parks. And then commuting to work down Rochester Road but that requires your head on a swivel. lol

I would think Rochester road would be a dicey commute via bike. Do you mostly do road biking or mtn biking or something else? I have a few friends that I occasionly ride with but mostly puts along solo. I would always be interested in riding somewhere new though if you are ever up to dragging me around.
