Hi,
I just joined today and was excited to finally find a cycling group online. I am a native Rhode islander and love cycling! I recently became connected with people from the East Bay Bike Path which goes from East Providence to Bristol. We have cycled in areas such as Point Judith, Prudence Island, Provincetown on the Cape, and Tiverton/Little Compton. Prior to meeting these people, I would always bike alone and occasionally with my husband on the East Bay Bike Path. My husband and I also have cycled in Bar Harbor, Maine on the carriage roads. They are so beautiful! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Hi there,
I am into recreational cycling with my husband and friends from the bike path. I bike anywhere from 15-40 miles at a time. I have never done any racing; My twin sister does that. I sent her an invite to join Two Spokes.
I have two bikes; one is a hybrid and the other one is a road bike with straight handle bars, not the curly ones. My hybrid is from the outdoors store, REI and my road bike is a Specialized...that's my favorite! I bought it for my 40th birthday present to myself
I am looking forward to meeting a lot of people here
Thank you Sandlynx My friend Paula lives in Royal Oak, MI. She used to live in RI in my 2-family house. I am hoping to go biking this weekend to the Cape Cod Canal Rail Trail with my husband. Where do you bike in Michigan?

Hello all,
A buddy of mine told me about this place so I checked it out and joined. I'm fairly new to Southern California so I'm still trying to learn the lay of the land. I ride road and mountain bikes- basically whenever I can.
Awesome! Do you do that ride often? It sounds like you aren't too far from my friend Paula. Unfortunately, she isn't into cycling How often does the League of Michigan Bicyclists ride?
The league of Michigan Bicyclists have events every week end, nearly year round. Here's there website link if anyone is interested in knowing more about them. They're very active advocates for promoting cycling and "Complete Streets" and pushing other legislation that makes cycling safer for all of us.
