Central Texas (especially Temple) doesn't have a ton of convenient bike trails. I've got a mountain bike and I just started going on off-road trails about a month ago. I've done Guadalupe River State Park, which was fantastic. I just found out that BLORA (Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area) has 20 miles of trails. The easy trails are easy, medium medium and difficult VERY difficult. It's a lot of fun.

I'm looking for anyone that hits the Blora trails. The cell phone coverage isn't great out there, and I'm afraid of everything from flat tires to headfirst wrecks into trees to snake and other critters. I'd like to find a few people to make it more safe and enjoyable. I'm new to it, but I can do most of the medium trails.

Send me a message if you'd like to give BLORA (one hour north of Austin) a try.
