    Nuke Proof started out around 1992 as a component maker, they remain in business today. They made the best hub set I have ever owned back in 94/5 when they made the first carbon hubs that I had seen. The set weighed 280 grams less than XT and with the open weave carbon were hypnotic to watch go round.

    They flirted with making their own frames and the unique front suspension in the nineties.
